Bodega Bay Fishing Report Week of 11-30-25

Lingcod and Crab are wide open. Weather was great, awesome week to finish out November.

Both boats ran and had pretty awesome fishing. We limited on crab quickly with some absolute giant crabs for the morning combo and afternoon crab-only trips. The average was well over 9 keepers per hoop, and a high of 17 keepers per hoop (one shy of my all-time record of 18 keepers). We are still fishing a little deeper, over 120 feet of water, and it seems to be paying off. And we had epic lingcod fishing with quick limits within an hour or so of fishing for lings. Awesome day and many happy folks going into the holiday.

Bodega Bay Fish Report – 11/29-30/25

Capt Josh- F/V Bigeye+Sorta Salty

Both boats ran again this weekend with similar success as before Thanksgiving. Good crabbing, good lingcod action, and a little better rockfish bite. Both boats had limits of lingcod on Saturday, with good crabbing on the morning and afternoon trips. On Sunday, the weather degraded a little, and so did the bite, but Josh had limits of rockfish and was 2 shy of limits on lingcod, with 8 lings for 5 clients; he mentioned the crabbing was still solid. Again, another solid weekend to finish off the month.
